Nigredo: What the Dark Holds

An invitation to sit with what has not yet transformed. Drawing on alchemical symbolism and the fairy tale of the Fisher King, we enter the prima materia — the grief, confusion, and unnamed longing that precede renewal.

The first gathering in the four-part series. We turn toward the whitening — the reflective, lunar work of insight and witness. What becomes visible when we stop looking away?

About This Work

The land as
witness.

These gatherings take place outdoors, in the ponderosa and granite of the Colorado mountains. The setting is not incidental — the land is a co-facilitator, holding us in something older and larger than our individual stories.

Each workshop weaves together depth psychology, fairy tale and myth, expressive arts, and slow conversation. No prior knowledge of Jung or psychology is required — only a willingness to be present.

Groups are kept small, between six and ten participants, to allow genuine encounter. Sliding scale pricing is available; no one turned away for lack of funds.

The Alchemical Imagination

A four-part outdoor Jungian workshop series moving through the alchemical stages — nigredo, albedo, citrinitas, rubedo — as a map for psychological transformation. Art-making, fairy tale, and depth reflection. Each session stands alone; the series deepens when attended whole.

A community gathering series using fairy tales as living texts — not to explain or analyze, but to listen to what the old stories still know. For those drawn to the symbolic life and the wisdom held in image.
